This year our annual charity event is on Thursday 8th October 2026 at York Sports Club. We are proudly raising funds for York Against Cancer, a remarkable charity who provide help to people in York and parts of North and East Yorkshire affected by cancer.
Join the Evening
Could you or your team benefit from a fun night out, some informal teambuilding and networking, all while supporting a worthy cause? Then mark your calendars for Thursday 8th October, at York Sports Club for our 29th Annual Fundraiser. Over the past 29 years, your generosity has helped us raise over £80,000 for local charities!
We invite you to enter a team of 4 for an evening that’s always a hit among local businesses. If you are unable to enter a team, individual entries are welcome at £25 per person.
Details of the evening are as follows:
- When: Thursday 8th October 2026
- Where: York Sports Club, Clifton Park, Shipton Rd, York YO30 5RE
- Time: Arrival from 5:30pm
- First round will start at 6pm (to give you time to grab a drink, try your luck on the tombola, raffle and fundraising competitions)
- We will enjoy break-out games between a few rounds of the quiz
- Approximate finish: 9:30pm, following the raffle and winners’ presentation
- Entry:
- £30 per person (we’ll match you with a friendly team!)
- £120 per team of 4
- Food: food is included with the entry price
The Charity Raffle
Help us support York Against Cancer by participating in our charity raffle! Raffle tickets are available for just £1.00 each, with the chance to win amazing prizes generously donated by local businesses.
Tickets are £1.00 each, or you can buy a book of 5 for £5.00. Raffle tickets will be on sale during the event, with the prize draw taking place at approximately 9pm on 8th October. All winners will be notified.
Additional Ways to Support
You can further help us make a difference by:
- Sponsoring a quiz round for £30 – sponsor one of the quiz rounds to include your logo, coverage at the venue and all press activity before and after the event.
- Donate a Raffle or Tombola Prize: All donations are greatly appreciated!
