We are incredibly proud to share the highlights from the Yorkshire Accountancy Awards 2026, which took place at New Dock Hall in Leeds on 26th February. It was an evening filled with celebration, recognition, and appreciation for the outstanding talent within the accountancy profession across the region.
The evening was made even more special as we won the Independent Firm of the Year award!
This is a huge achievement for all the hard work that the team at HGH puts in. We are also incredibly lucky to have amazing clients to work with who see our clear focus on long-term sustainability, quality and growth.
The Judges at the awards said:
They were impressed by the significant growth achieved within specialised service areas, alongside an admirable commitment to reinvesting that success back into the business. Strong investment across departments and in staff training demonstrated not just growth, but a clear focus on long-term sustainability and quality, further reinforced by excellent client testimonial results and consistently positive feedback.
While we didn’t take home Employer of the Year, being shortlisted is an honour, and we’re grateful to be among such outstanding firms.
