What the job involves

• Managing and preparing accounts for a portfolio of clients across various sectors.
• Preparation of company/individual tax returns.
• Review of bookkeeping.
• VAT returns and offering advice where necessary.
• Billing, fee quotes and renewals and review debtors and WIP.
• Hands on exposure working with clients on a regular basis.
• Managing workflow of team members.
• Attract new clients and contribute to the success of the firm.
• Working effectively within the wider team, including supervision and development of junior members.

What we are looking for

• Experience in practice of working as a Client Manager/Senior Accountant.
• Form of accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or qualified by experience).
• You will be confident when it comes to advising clients and seek to build long-term relations by understanding their business and adding value.
• You will have a track record as a team leader and enjoy managing, developing and celebrating your team’s success.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Technically proficient in all areas of general accounting.
